Pakistan, China Sign Technology Transfer & Labour Training Agreement

A landmark five-year agreement between China and Pakistan has been signed to enhance Pakistan’s industrial capacity through advanced technology transfer and specialized workforce training. Signed between the Guangdong Shoe-Making Machinery Association and Pakistan’s PISMIDA, the pact focuses on modernizing footwear, leather, and garment sectors. PISMIDA Vice Chairman Muhammad Yaseen, who represented Pakistan at China’s JISMA exhibition, hailed the deal as a historic milestone in strategic cooperation, innovation, and long-term industrial growth.
